Boston Marathon 2025: A Brunch of Celebration, Unity, and Purpose

As part of the 2025 Boston Marathon, the Pedro Martínez Foundation hosted its traditional PMF Brunch—an event that brought together runners, partners, donors, and community members for a morning filled with gratitude, inspiration, and solidarity.

Held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the brunch served as a space to honor the efforts of the athletes running in support of the Foundation’s mission and to highlight the real impact their contributions have on thousands of youth and vulnerable families. Through moving testimonials, heartfelt remarks, and moments of connection, attendees reaffirmed their commitment to social change.

Pedro Martínez and Carolina Martínez, co-founders of PMF, delivered emotional messages, thanking each runner and supporter for their dedication and for carrying the Foundation’s message beyond the finish line. The event also featured updates on the Foundation’s educational, sports, and community development programs in both the United States and the Dominican Republic.

PMF Brunch 2025 was not only a celebration of athletic achievement, but also a powerful reminder of what a united community can accomplish: transforming lives and breaking cycles of poverty through access to opportunity.
