My favorite toys are cars and blocks. I like to play hide and seek and discover new textures with my little hands. I always smile when I listen to music and I love colors to paint.

I am in school in 4th grade, I am very dedicated in my studies. I love to dance to music and play with dolls. I like to run in my backyard and play in the sand. My favorite animal is the bunny, I have a stuffed animal that sleeps with me every night. When I grow up I would like to be a doctor.

I live with my mommy and my 3 little brothers in the Bellas Colinas community. I love to run around the yard and play with my friends. My favorite toys are cars and dinosaurs. I like to go outside and watch my little friends run all over the streets. It makes me very happy when my mommy makes me delicious food and to see my favorite dolls. My favorite time is when my mommy tells me stories.

I like to play volleyball in the foundation of Pedro Martinez, I am in school in the 6th grade and I am doing very well, I always get good grades in all subjects, I am focused on my studies to be a good professional. But I am also very sad because my grandmother passed away, but in spite of everything I thank God for the love that my parents always give me. When I grow up I would like to be a pediatrician to cure children.

My name is Mayelin Celeste Maglin, I am 12 years old, I live with my mom, my stepfather and my two little brothers. I study and practice volleyball at the Pedro Martinez foundation, I help my mom a lot with my little brothers and every time I can I visit my grandmother to help her in any way I can. When I become an adult I would like to be a great athlete and be a very famous volleyball player, fulfill the promise I made to my grandparents to be a great professional volleyball player, because my passion is sports. I will strive to achieve my goals to help people in need with love and humility.

I practice volleyball at the Pedro Martinez foundation three days a week and I love being on the playing field with my volleyball teammates. I am studying and attending 6th grade. I love going to school because I can share and socialize with my classmates. My favorite part of going to class is recess because my friends and I play volleyball in the school yard and it's a lot of fun and we also share snacks together. My biggest dream is to become a great athlete to help my family get ahead.

I have a genetic disease called Down Syndrome, but in spite of that I am very affectionate, I like to take care of the younger children, my mommy always prepares my favorite food and plays hide and seek with me and my little brother because he likes that game very much, I would like to study but my condition does not allow me, when I grow up I would have liked to be a doctor to cure and treat people like me with syndromes and give them motivation to follow a normal life, my moms do not have many resources to take care of me, but still they give me everything they can so that my little brother and I are well, the love of my parents is the most important thing I have.

My name is Edison, I am 5 years old and I live with my mom, my grandparents and my little sister in the community of San Miguel. I already go to school, I like running, jumping and eating candy. Every time I go to the Foundation they give us delicious food.

I'm Daniel, I'm 6 years old and I'm in 1st grade of elementary school. I live with my mom, my grandmother, my older brother and my little sister, who is very naughty. I like numbers very much, I learned to multiply, add and subtract… and my mom helps me with my homework. When I grow up I want to be an engineer and build roads and houses for people in need.

I am Dahel, I am 8 years old and I am in 2nd grade of elementary school. I live with my mother, my grandmother and my little brothers and sisters in the community of San Miguel. Two years ago I was diagnosed with mild autism and have to go to therapy all week. My mother says it's too expensive and we can't afford it. Now, I have to study in a special school, where they can understand and manage my condition. When I grow up I want to play basketball and have a room with tools to build fans, toy cars and robots.

I'm Vanessa, I'm 5 years old and I live with my mother and sister. I really like being at my school where I can play with my little friends, paint, read stories and jump with my teacher. My mom is a great cop; she takes care of the children when they go to school. She is strong and always plays with me when we are at home.

My name is Perla, I am 4 years old and I live with my mom and my two sisters in the community of San Miguel. I am not in school, but I really enjoy drawing, cutting and watching my sister do her homework. My mom taught me vowels and I am learning numbers. My name is Erick, I am 9 years old and I live with my grandmother and my little brother. I live in San Miguel and I am in 4th grade of elementary school. I really like going to the playground to play baseball. When I grow up, I want to be a great baseball player to help my grandma and my mom.

I'm Erwin and I'm 14 years old, I'm in 8th grade, I live with my mother, my grandmother and my older brother in the community of San Miguel in Manoguayabo. I am always active in training and I love it when the coach allows me to help the younger ones during training.

My name is Miguel Angel, I am 5 years old and I live with my mom and my two brothers in the community of San Miguel. Every day I go with my mom to work because she has no one to leave me at home. I like to play baseball and I also go to the Foundation to play on the slide. I visited a dentist there for the first time. The doctor is a sweetheart, she gave me a super toothbrush because I behaved so well.

I am Emily Chantal Correa and I am in fifth grade. I am ten years old, and I live in the community of San Miguel with my mother and my little brothers. During the day someone takes care of us, so that my mother can go to work. I really like spending time with my family and coming to the Foundation because, here, I can play. My favorite subject is Art Education because I can write poetry and paint.

My name is Emmanuel J. Almonte, I am 11 years old My name is Emmanuel J. Almonte, I am 11 years old I'm in the 5th grade of primary school and my little brother Yadiel Almonte, 5 years old, is in pre-primary, we are from the community La Agelita, where we live with our grandparents and my uncle and, because my parents passed away, I like to spend time at school and play with my friends, my little brother likes to play with his toy carts, I take care of my little brother, I teach him to put on his shoes, while my uncle works as a delivery person in a grocery store so he can feed us, the grandparents are very old.

My name is Yennaliz Berihuete, I am 12 years old, and I live in the community of Pueblo Chico with my parents and siblings. I am in 6th grade, I really like playing volleyball, going to church and helping my mom at home. When I have practice days, I have to walk a long time to get to the Foundation, but it is very worth it because here I feel it is my happy place; I feel at home.
