Who is behind Legacy 45

Pedro Martinez didn’t found a gala. He founded a place to come back to.

Pedro grew up with limited opportunities in San Miguel de Manoguayabo, Dominican Republic. That experience, along with his generous heart, led him to found the Pedro Martinez Foundation in 1998, starting with a land donation that is now a full community center.

Today, that same land includes classrooms, sports courts, a computer lab, a dental clinic, and a baseball field open to the entire community. Legacy #45 didn’t stay on the mound—it lives on every day in Manoguayabo, in Boston, and in every child who walks through our doors.
