The Pedro Martinez Foundation's annual backpack drives have become a vital support system for thousands of underserved youth, particularly in the United States and the Dominican Republic. In the summer of 2024, the foundation achieved an impressive milestone by distributing 21,500 school supplies to students in need. These supplies are essential for helping young people prepare for school, ensuring that they can begin the academic year with the tools necessary for success.

This initiative not only provides material resources but also brings hope and encouragement to the youth, reinforcing the foundation's mission to support education and community development. Through the efforts of donors, volunteers, and strategic partnerships, the foundation continues to make a meaningful impact in these communities, reducing the financial burden on families and fostering educational growth.

The foundation's work has become a cornerstone for many young people, empowering them to excel in their studies and showing that their community supports their educational journey. Pedro Martinez's commitment to youth development extends far beyond the baseball field, offering tangible solutions to some of the challenges faced by economically disadvantaged students
