The Pedro Martinez Foundation and more than 40 Dominican Baseball Players and Stars Unite to Donate Resources to Support the Dominican Republic during this COVID-19 Crisis. The Dominican Republic does not have the infrastructure, food supplies and resources that the United States has, therefore, this virus is affecting their communities in a devastating way.
Here are the ways we are helping in the Dominican Republic:
- 5000 Food Kits that provides families food for two weeks.
- More than 7,000 meals delivered (Over 250,000 meals)
- 32,000 KN95 masks for doctors and nurses.
- 110,000 3 – ply face masks for Dominican citizens to wear.
- 7,700 protective disposable suits for doctors and nurses.
- Online virtual courses, counseling, education and health programs.
